    Since 2017, Ready To Wed has been helping brides find beautiful designer gowns at a fraction of their original price. In 2023 we brought the collection online so brides anywhere in the country could shop it too.

    Not every bride has an unlimited budget, and she shouldn't have to give up the gown she loves because of it. We wore sample gowns on our own wedding days, and no one knew. Now we're bringing that experience (and the savings) to you.

About Us

What is a sample gown?

A sample gown is a designer wedding dress that was made for a bridal salon's showroom floor. Brides try it on so they can see the style in person before ordering their own. Samples are the same designer gowns sold at full retail. When a salon updates its collection, those gowns move on, and that's where we come in.

Every gown in our shop is one of a kind. There's one of each style in the size listed, and once it's gone, it's gone.

  • Designer names you know, including Morilee, Stella York, Essense of Australia, Randy Fenoli, Justin Alexander, Martina Liana and more, plus private-label and independent designs.
  • Gowns from boutiques across the country. Alongside our own inventory, we list sample gowns from partner bridal boutiques, so you see more styles in one place.
  • Every silhouette: ballgowns, A-lines, fit-and-flare, mermaid and sheath styles, in sizes from 6 to plus sizes.
  • Real savings. Each listing shows the gown's original retail price, so you can see exactly what you're saving. Many gowns also have a "Make an Offer" option, so look for it on the listings you love.

How we help you buy with confidence

Bridal sizes don't match everyday clothing sizes, so we don't want you guessing. Every listing includes the designer's size-chart measurements for bust, waist and hip, and our Purchase Info page walks you through measuring yourself. Designer size charts are linked in our shop for Morilee, Stella York and Essense of Australia, Justin Alexander, Allure, Casablanca, Paloma Blanca and Lea Ann Belter.
